Jacques Derrida’s philosophy of forgiveness

This paper presents social and political dimensions of forgiveness within Jacques Derrida’s philosophy. philosophy is an example how can help us understand resolve contemporary issues. Derrida believes that traditional concept should be broadened beyond the bounds rational imaginable. According to Derrida, needs rethinking because phenomenon proliferation scenes after Second World War produced globalization trivialized decharacterized this term. act only thought limits common sense in space impossible, something cannot forgive. has wide implications as it transcends binary oppositions: present/past, self/other, friend/enemy so forth. All concepts politics (friendship, enemy, hospitality, forgiveness, justice, on) are significant for societies eroded with traumas wars ethno-national divisions conflicts.
